Hi! Haven’t had much time for new perfume lately, just been wearing some staples.

But!—I got a set of Parfum d’Empire samples for my birthday a bit back and finally put one on. Really warm orangey citrus opening that doesn’t last long. Then a really nice dry, airy grassy smell, maybe pepper and those kinds of piercing herbs, at the heart, but still a little hint of sweetness. I guess a classic chypre—sharp green cypress, warm moss. Now it’s got a nice bodily muskiness that comes in and out as well.

I don’t know if I have a favourite in this style, but I generally really like them.
